Job summary

Learning Care is hiring Assistant Teachers to support children and families in a caring, interactive classroom. We offer a Monday–Friday schedule, a safe environment, and opportunities to learn and grow.

You will follow licensing guidelines, observe and plan for children's development, communicate with families, and participate in ongoing training including tuition reimbursement and credential assistance.

• Meet state and/or accreditation education and experience requirements.

Responsibilities

• Follow licensing guidelines and company standards to ensure daily care of every child; maintain a fun, interactive classroom that is clean and organized.
• Engage with children by observing, assessing, and planning for development; communicate effectively with families.
• Complete extensive training on childcare, preschool and child development topics.

Assistant Teachers

• Love to help! Follow all licensing guidelines and company standards to ensure the daily care of every child. Maintain a fun, interactive classroom that is clean and organized.
• Love to engage! Develop your ability to accurately observe, assess, and plan for children, as well as effectively communicate with families.
• Love to learn! Complete extensive training on childcare, preschool and child development topics.

Qualifications

• The ability to meet state and/or accreditation requirements for education and experience.
• The ability to work indoors or outdoors and engage in physical activity with children.

Compensation & Benefits

• Pay $15.45-$16.05 hourly, bi‑weekly and daily pay options; based on position, education and experience or any other compensation offered.
• Immediate health insurance (medical, dental and vision), paid time‑off and 401(k) (plus company match) provided for full‑time employees.
• Limited medical offered for part‑time workers.
• Education assistance including tuition reimbursement and certification available to all employees.
