What you can expect to do:

• Collaborate with teachers to work with small groups of students, providing individualized support.
• Monitor student behavior, track progress, communicate with parents, and reinforce learning using our proven model.
• Work with students from diverse backgrounds.
• Lead small group instruction following the SESI academic rotational model.
• Assist in providing behavior and academic support, assessments, and reinforcement of skills.
• Support large group activities, grading, independent or enrichment activities, and accommodations.
• Implement behavior support, de-escalation, crisis management, and physical restraint when necessary.
• Help create and follow daily lesson plans.
• Document and track student growth toward academic, social, and emotional goals.
• Supervise students to ensure safety at all times.
• Collaborate with other staff to meet students' needs.
