Job summary

Learning Care Group in Florida is hiring Assistant Teachers to care for children and support families in a licensed child care center. This role emphasizes following licensing guidelines, maintaining a fun, organized classroom, and engaging with children daily.

You will observe and plan for children, communicate with families, and participate in extensive training on childcare, preschool and child development topics.

Qualifications

• The ability to meet state and/or accreditation requirements for education and experience.
• The ability to work indoors or outdoors and engage in physical activity with children.

Responsibilities

• Follow licensing guidelines and company standards to ensure daily care of every child; maintain a fun, interactive classroom that is clean and organized.
• Develop the ability to observe, assess, and plan for children, and effectively communicate with families.
• Complete extensive training on childcare, preschool and child development topics.
