We are seeking an Assistant Swim Team Coach ages 18 + and older who are passionate about developing swimmers' skills, build confidence, and achieve success both in and out of the pool. You will provide swim team instruction under the direction of the Head Swim Coach, offer feedback and coaching during practices and swim meets, and gain hands‑on experience.
The salary for this position starts at $16.50 hourly. We take into consideration an individual’s background and experience in determining salary; therefore, base pay offered may vary considerably depending on job‑related knowledge, skills, and experience. The compensation package includes a wide range of other benefits and earned time off that vary depending on part‑time or full‑time status.
The Assistant Swim Team Coach is responsible for providing swim team instruction to program participants. The incumbent provides feedback and direction to individual swimmers during swim practice and swim meets. The incumbent provides high level of customer service and ensures a safe and positive program environment.
This position reports to the Aquatics Director. The incumbent interacts regularly with staff, participants, members, and volunteers. The position regularly interacts with children, youths, and adults.
