Position Summary

As an Aquatics Assistant Swim Team Coach, you will enjoy working in a fast-paced environment. You will help our Swim Team members improve their swimming in our state-of-the-art recreational and lap pools, both indoors and outdoors. You will collaborate with the Head Swim Team Coach to plan and lead Swim Team Group Workouts, assist in registering new participants, and maintain the cleanliness and order of our Aquatics Facilities.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

• Offer competitive swimmers the opportunity to master technique.
• Conduct daily practices under the guidance of the head coach.
• Promote all Life Time products, services, and programs.

Position Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED.
• At least 1 year of swim coaching experience.
• Membership in ASCA and USA Swimming.
• CPR/AED certification.
• Lifeguard Certification within 60 days of hire.
• Completion of all job-specific requirements through Life Time Education.
• Ability to work stationary and move about the club for extended periods.
• Effective communication skills with guests regarding products and services.
• Ability to swim 25 yards/meters continuously.
• Ability to routinely bend to lift up to 20 lbs and occasionally more.

Preferred Requirements

• ASCA Level 1 Certification or higher.
