SeaWorld Parks & Entertainment in Texas is seeking enthusiastic Ambassadors to join our team. You will represent the company with energy and a commitment to quality while supporting exhibit maintenance and guest experiences.

This role involves coordinating schedules, maintaining equipment, following safety procedures, and delivering exceptional service to visitors. The position offers perks like park tickets, insurance, retirement plans, and more.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must have an Associate's degree (A.A.) or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school.
• Must have four years related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Must have and maintain a valid driver's license.
• Must be CPR, First Aid and Open Water certified.
• Must be current and trained on all applicable company safety training.
• Must have basic computer skills in Word, PowerPoint and Excel.
• Must have strong written/verbal communication skills.
• Must have the ability to speak effectively before groups of guests or team members.
• Must be able to lift and/or move up to 100 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Ensures operation of the compressed breathing air compressor.
• Coordinates and services ozone contact chambers.
• Trains team members, plans and directs work, addresses complaints and resolves problems.
• Adheres to OSHA dive regulations and safety procedures.

Basic Job function

• Enthusiastically represents the company by displaying a positive attitude, high level of energy and commitment to quality throughout all aspects of the job.
• Coordinates and performs tasks necessary to maintain the appearance of exhibits and holding pools by performing the following duties.
• Prepares and reviews area work schedules.

Principal duties

• Maintains all records on equipment, maintenance and daily dive longs.
• Responsible for maintaining machinery and associated dive equipment by ensuring service calls on repairs are made.
• Assists in the coordination of preventive maintenance program and spare parts inventory.
• Ensures proper operation of the compressed breathing air compressor.
• Responsible for the coordination and service of all ozone contact chambers.
• Responsibilities include, but are not limited to; training team members, planning, assisting and directing work, addressing complaints and resolving problems.
• Must stay current on all OSHA dive regulations.
• Utilizes safe handling, storage and disposal practices for toxic substance and hazardous waste in accordance with SeaWorld and department operating procedures.

Required Skills, Knowledge, Education, And Training

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must have an Associate's degree (A.A.) or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school.
• Must have four years related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Must have and maintain a valid driver's license; visiting students and military must have a valid driver's license from state of residency and able to provide a copy of the DMV report.
• Must be C.P.R., First Aid and Open Water certified.
• Must be current and trained on all applicable company safety training.
• Must have basic computer skills in Word, PowerPoint and Excel.
• Must have strong written/verbal communication skills.
• Must have the ability to speak effectively before groups of guests or team members.
• Must be able to lift and/or move up to 100 pounds.
