Job summary

SeaWorld Parks & Entertainment is seeking enthusiastic, dedicated, and hard-working individuals to become Ambassadors. The role involves maintaining exhibits and holding pools, coordinating schedules, and supporting equipment maintenance while ensuring safety standards are met.

Ideal candidates will have an Associate's degree, four years of related experience, CPR/First Aid/Open Water certification, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must have an Associate's degree (A.A.) or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school.
• Must have four years related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Must have and maintain a valid driver's license; visiting students and military must have a valid driver's license from state of residency and able to provide a copy of the DMV report.
• Must be CPR., First Aid and Open Water certified.
• Must be current and trained on all applicable company safety training.
• Must have basic computer skills in Word, PowerPoint and Excel.
• Must have strong written/verbal communication skills.
• Must have the ability to speak effectively before groups of guests or team members.
• Must be able to lift and/or move up to 100 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Maintains all records on equipment, maintenance and daily dive longs.
• Responsible for maintaining machinery and associated dive equipment by ensuring service calls on repairs are made.
• Assists in the coordination of preventive maintenance program and spare parts inventory.
• Ensures proper operation of the compressed breathing air compressor.
• Responsible for the coordination and service of all ozone contact chambers.
• Responsibilities include, but are not limited to; training team members, planning, assisting and directing work, addressing complaints and resolving problems.
• Must stay current on all OSHA dive regulations.
• Utilizes safe handling, storage and disposal practices for toxic substance and hazardous waste in accordance with SeaWorld and department operating procedures.

Basic Job function
