RESPONSIBILITIES: The Assistant Stable Supervisor assists with training new grooms and supervises employees in the absence of the Stable Manager. This position cleans stalls, assists with horse care and doctoring, and performs general facilities maintenance, pasture maintenance, and farm equipment maintenance.

REQUIREMENTS:

• A high school diploma/HSE
• Three years of experience in a similar position involving progressive responsibility
• The desire to be a part of and lead a productive team
• Basic computer skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• The ability to care for large animals
• The ability to provide minor veterinary care on horses
• The ability to perform facilities maintenance
• Valid driver's license with a good driving record
• The physical capability to lift 75 lbs. regularly and access various campus areas; this involves constant walking and climbing stairs

Highly desired skills include:
