Ink360 is seeking an Assistant Supervisor & Press Operator for our Fort Atkinson, Wisconsin facility. The role blends hands-on screen-printing with leadership duties, including press setup, ink prep, quality checks, and guiding the crew to complete each job safely and accurately.

The position is in-person, with a 3:00pm–11:00pm shift, Monday–Friday, plus occasional overtime and weekend work. Training and room for growth are offered in a modern, well-ventilated plant.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; technical degree preferred.
• 3+ years of experience with screen-printing machines; training provided.
• Experience with cylindrical substrates is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate fully automated rotary and semi-automatic screen-printing presses.
• Prepare inks and monitor ink/chemical inventories.
• Supervise load/unload crew and assist as needed.
• Maintain production documentation and safe, clean workspace.
• Stand for long periods and lift up to 40 pounds.

Assistant Supervisor & Press Operator

The Assistant Supervisor/Press Operator combines hands-on screen-printing work with the opportunity to help lead the production team. You’ll set up and run presses, prepare inks, monitor quality, keep production organized, and work alongside the crew to make sure each job gets completed safely and correctly.

Job Location: In-person at our Fort Atkinson, Wisconsin facility.

Position Details

• Shift details: 3:00pm-11:00 PM includes breaks and dinner.
• Schedule: Monday through Friday, with the expectation of punctual attendance and proactive notice for any planned absences.
• Extra expectations: Including but not limited to occasional weekend shifts; availability on major holidays is a plus, with overtime compensation.
• Work Location: 1250 Butler Drive, Fort Atkinson, WI 53538; facility with well-ventilated workspaces and modern amenities.
• Reports To: Plant Manager for daily tasks, updates, and reviews.
• Training: ink360 offers continued training to ensure compliance with safety regulations and the well-being of all staff.

Job Description

• Set up and operate a fully automated rotary screen-printing press.
• Set up and operate a semi-automatic screen-printing press.
• Prepare inks for each project.
• Monitor ink & chemical inventories and reorder as needed.
• Periodical inspection/quality check printed bottles.
• Supervise load and unload crew.
• Assist load and unload crew as needed.
• Forklift certification is a plus.
• Working knowledge of basic computer operations is a plus.
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment.
• Maintain accurate counts, update production documentation, and return to the Plant Manager for final review.
• Other duties as identified by the Plant Manager.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; Technical degree in graphic design preferred.
• Experience: Experience working with screen-printing machines. Cylindrical substrates are a plus. We also train.
• Expertise: Minimum 3+ years of experience with screen-printing machines. More experience is better. We also train.
• Skills: Working knowledge of all screen-printing operations; Cylindrical screen-printing knowledge a plus; Basic computer skills; Mechanical aptitude; Willingness to learn and take on greater responsibilities.
• Tools Proficiency: Ability to operate small power tools; ability to work with hand tools; ability to operate a desktop/laptop computer.
• Physical Abilities: Must be able to stand for long periods of time; Must be able to climb a ladder; Must be able to lift to 40 pounds.
• Communications: Strong communication and interpersonal skills; English as a primary language.
• Driving & Record: Must have a clean driving record. Must be insurable by ink360 insurance. Must have reliable transportation to and from work.

Pay

$25 per hour or more depending on experience.

• Second Shift Premium: up to $4/hour included in biweekly payroll
• Overtime Premium: Half-time in addition to regular pay
