Assistant Supervisor, Park Operations - Operations Support (SeaWorld San Diego, Part-Time)

Overview

At SeaWorld, we're passionate about animal rescue, having saved over 40,000 animals. Join our team to bring joy and excitement to visitors worldwide. We're seeking enthusiastic, dedicated individuals to become our Ambassadors and contribute to our incredible team.

Responsibilities
  • Answer phone calls, take messages, and route calls appropriately.
  • Update Attraction Performance Database with ride and show info.
  • Create and print Daily Splash reports based on show schedules and area info.
  • Send hourly counts and update pace sheets.
  • Review website and app updates according to show schedules and park hours; communicate changes to Operations Managers.
  • Attend weekly departmental meetings; provide feedback and notes.
  • Correct timekeeping for ambassadors.
  • Enter work notifications via SAP and SharePoint.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of office areas.
  • Assist ambassadors and follow park protocol in emergencies.
  • Respond to guest and ambassador needs.
  • Complete daily and weekly reports.
  • Report project status to supervisors and managers.
  • Ensure compliance with regulations, policies, and procedures.
  • Communicate professionally with staff, vendors, and guests.
  • Perform other duties as assigned, including occasional assistance at other park locations.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Leadership experience preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree pursuit or possession preferred.
  • Strong computer skills; familiarity with multiple systems preferred.
  • Valid driver’s license; ability to obtain company license.
  • Minimum 18 years old.
  • Proficiency in administrative tasks on computer.
  • CPR/AED certification or ability to obtain it.
  • Ability to be trained and certified at all attractions.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Comfort speaking to large groups.
  • Ability to stay calm in challenging situations.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office.
  • Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, lift (25 lbs), and climb stairs.
  • Ability to work outdoors at heights and in sand.
  • Flexible availability, including days, nights, weekends, holidays, and extended hours for seasonal events.
Compensation & Perks

Starting at $18.00 per hour. Benefits include free park admission, discounts on tickets, food, merchandise, scholarship opportunities, and exclusive employee events.
