Job summary

Creation Technologies in Wisconsin is seeking an Assistant Supervisor, Manufacturing to lead a production team and ensure safety, quality, delivery, and productivity goals are met. The role blends hands-on production activities with leadership responsibilities, reporting to the Manufacturing Manager or Director.

You will supervise staff, monitor KPIs, and partner with engineering, quality, and supply chain to resolve issues and maintain daily operations.

Qualifications

• Post-secondary diploma or degree in manufacturing, operations, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 2–3 years of manufacturing experience with prior leadership or supervisory responsibility.
• Strong knowledge of production workflows, KPIs, labor planning, and root cause analysis.
• Proficiency in manufacturing systems, KPI tracking, data analysis, and problem-solving tools.
• Effective communication skills for cross-functional collaboration and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Support production team execution to achieve safety, quality, delivery, and productivity targets.
• Perform hands-on production activities as needed to maintain workflow and meet operational demands.
• Reinforce adherence to operational and quality standards to ensure compliant production.
• Support management of staffing, output, and on-time delivery within the assigned production area or shift.
• Resolve moderately complex production and personnel issues to maintain daily operations.
• Collaborate with engineering, quality, supply chain, Program Management, and maintenance to resolve operational challenges.
• Communicate production performance, issues, and improvement plans to leadership and cross-functional teams.
• Provide day-to-day direction, coaching, and performance feedback to production employees.
• Support labor utilization, overtime control, and reduction of scrap or rework to improve performance.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Education and Required Experience: Post‑secondary diploma or degree in manufacturing, operations, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
