Job summary

The Arc of Ocean County is seeking an Assistant Supervisor for the Adult Day Program in New Jersey. The role focuses on coordinating daily operations, supporting staff development, and delivering individualized services to promote independence, vocational skills, and community inclusion.

Location includes Tuckerton, Toms River, and Lakewood with a Monday–Friday schedule from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM. Compensation is $26.00 per hour with bi-weekly pay and overtime opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Services, Special Education, or a related field is required.
• Minimum of two years experience supporting individuals with developmental disabilities.
• Valid New Jersey driver’s license with ≤5 points.
• Background screenings and drug testing compliance required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily activities and operations of the day program.
• Coach and support program staff while encouraging collaboration and development.
• Track participant progress toward individualized goals.
• Promote coordinated supports with families, coordinators, and agencies.
• Contribute to quality improvement efforts to strengthen outcomes.
