ARCO Design/Build is seeking an Assistant Superintendent to lead on-site field activities, collaborate with the Project Manager on schedules, and coordinate subcontractors to deliver projects safely, on time and within budget. You will work with experienced professionals committed to growth and project excellence, while advancing through a robust design/build environment.

Ideal candidates have a construction management background, strong communication skills, and a drive for hands-on problem

Qualifications

• Recent or upcoming completion of an accredited Civil, Mechanical, Architectural, Construction Management, Building Science, or Construction Engineering undergraduate or graduate program (other related engineering majors will be considered)
• Strong interest in the construction process, specifically design/build, tilt-up concrete, industrial builds, etc.
• Previous experience in construction preferred, but not required
• GPA 3.0 or higher preferred, but not required
• Proficiency using Word, Excel, Outlook and Microsoft Project
• Excellent verbal communication skills, attention to detail, and a strong work ethic
• Valid Drivers License

A Day In The Life

As an Assistant Superintendent, every day brings a new lesson. You’ll gain exposure to the full lifecycle of a project while working alongside experienced professionals who are invested in your growth.

Here's What You Can Expect

• Preconstruction Planning – Attend post-award meetings to review project details and assist with construction planning before work begins.
• Project Scheduling – Work with the Project Manager to develop construction schedules, sequencing, staffing plans, and equipment needs.
