Job summary

LeoForce is seeking an Assistant Superintendent-Multifamily in Washington, DC to lead multifamily construction from site setup to closeout. You will supervise all activities, coordinate Podium Wrap and building envelope work, manage MEP coordination, and ensure quality and safety across the project team.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in multifamily construction.
• Experience with Podium Wrap, concrete, wood frame, precast parking garage, MEP, exterior envelope and facade.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate all construction activities for multifamily projects.
• Oversee Podium Wrap, concrete, wood frame, precast parking garage constructions with safety and quality.
• Coordinate and manage MEP work to align with design/specifications.
• Oversee exterior facade and envelope installation to achieve quality finishes.
• Liaise with project managers, architects, engineers and field teams for smooth execution.
• Perform site inspections and address issues or schedule delays.
• Ensure compliance with local and national building codes and safety standards.
• Maintain detailed project documentation including progress and safety logs.

We are seeking a Permanent Assistant Superintendent-Multifamily who is ready to contribute to our growth and success in the construction industry. You will be responsible for overseeing all stages of construction, ensuring high-quality work, and meeting project deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate all construction activities related to multifamily projects, ensuring all work is carried out as per the project plans and specifications.
• Oversee the construction process of Podium Wrap, concrete, wood frame, and Precast Parking Garage, ensuring quality and adherence to safety standards.
• Coordinate and manage all Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) work, ensuring compliance with design specifications and safety regulations.
• Oversee the installation of the exterior facade and exterior envelope, ensuring quality and adherence to project specifications.
• Coordinate with project managers, architects, engineers, and other construction professionals to ensure smooth project execution.
• Regularly inspect construction sites to identify and resolve any potential issues or delays.
• Ensure all construction activities comply with legal and quality standards, including local and national building codes.
• Maintain detailed and accurate project documentation, including progress reports, safety logs, and change orders.

Qualifications

1. A minimum of 5 years of experience in the construction industry, specifically in multifamily construction.
2. Proven experience working with Podium Wrap, concrete, wood frame, Precast Parking Garage, MEP, exterior facade, and exterior envelope.
3. Strong knowledge of construction processes, materials, quality control, and safety protocols.
4. Excellent leadership and project management skills, with a proven ability to oversee and coordinate large construction projects.
5. Excellent problem-solving skills, with a proven ability to identify and resolve construction-related issues effectively and efficiently.
6. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with all stakeholders, including project managers, architects, engineers, and construction workers.
7. A degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field is preferred.
8. Certifications in construction safety and project management are an asset.
9. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
10. Physical stamina and ability to work on construction sites in various weather conditions.
