We are seeking a Permanent Assistant Superintendent-Multifamily who is ready to contribute to our growth and success in the construction industry. You will be responsible for overseeing all stages of construction, ensuring high-quality work, and meeting project deadlines.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate all construction activities related to multifamily projects, ensuring all work is carried out as per the project plans and specifications.
- Oversee the construction process of Podium Wrap, concrete, wood frame, and Precast Parking Garage, ensuring quality and adherence to safety standards.
- Coordinate and manage all Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) work, ensuring compliance with design specifications and safety regulations.
- Oversee the installation of the exterior facade and exterior envelope, ensuring quality and adherence to project specifications.
- Coordinate with project managers, architects, engineers, and other construction professionals to ensure smooth project execution.
- Regularly inspect construction sites to identify and resolve any potential issues or delays.
- Ensure all construction activities comply with legal and quality standards, including local and national building codes.
- Maintain detailed and accurate project documentation, including progress reports, safety logs, and change orders.
Qualifications
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in the construction industry, specifically in multifamily construction.
- Proven experience working with Podium Wrap, concrete, wood frame, Precast Parking Garage, MEP, exterior facade, and exterior envelope.
- Strong knowledge of construction processes, materials, quality control, and safety protocols.
- Excellent leadership and project management skills, with a proven ability to oversee and coordinate large construction projects.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, with a proven ability to identify and resolve construction-related issues effectively and efficiently.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with all stakeholders, including project managers, architects, engineers, and construction workers.
- A degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field is preferred.
- Certifications in construction safety and project management are an asset.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Physical stamina and ability to work on construction sites in various weather conditions.
