Job summary

FCL Builders LLC in Tampa, FL is seeking an Assistant Superintendent to lead field operations on commercial projects. You will coordinate subcontractors, manage daily site activities, and support safety, quality, and schedule controls to meet project goals.

You’ll work closely with the Project Superintendent and Project Manager, gain hands-on leadership experience, and grow into larger field leadership roles. ESOP participation and a strong benefits package are offered.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 5 years of project supervision in industrial/large commercial construction.
• Strong scheduling, cost control, field coordination and safety knowledge.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Willingness to travel as needed.

Responsibilities

• Review owner contracts, drawings, specs and subcontractor scopes.
• Coordinate with Project Manager/Engineer and procure items.
• Develop site logistics plans and support SWPPP/setup.
• Plan construction activities from start to finish.
• Coordinate trades and daily site activities.
• Maintain safety and QA, enforce PPE and safety standards.
• Lead weekly project construction meetings and communicate with subcontractors.
