FCL Builders is seeking an Assistant Superintendent to lead field construction activities in Tampa, FL. You will coordinate subcontractors, support daily jobsite operations, and help drive projects on schedule, within budget, and to high quality standards.

You will work closely with the Project Superintendent, plan activities from startup to completion, and grow into larger field leadership roles while benefiting from an ESOP culture and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Minimum of 5 years of project supervision experience in industrial or large commercial construction.
• Extensive knowledge of scheduling, cost control, field coordination, and safety procedures.
• Strong communication skills and ability to build effective relationships with owners, subcontractors, and project teams.
• Willingness and ability to travel as needed.

Responsabilités

• Review owner contracts, drawings, specs, subcontractor scopes, and related documents.
• Coordinate with Project Manager and Project Engineer on startup and procurement tasks.
• Develop and maintain site logistics plans, including access, barriers, signage, and material storage.
• Support SWPPP setup and other compliance requirements when applicable.
• Coordinate with municipalities to understand inspections and occupancy requirements.
• Lead weekly project construction meetings and daily coordination with subcontractors.
• Track progress, costs, and time in coordination with the project team.
• Ensure safety, QA, and proper documentation on site.
