Job summary

The Berg Group is seeking an Assistant Superintendent to join our team. This role involves travel up to 50% of the time across our markets and guiding Foremen to meet production goals on commercial projects.

Candidates should have a construction background and aspire to advance to Superintendent within 1–2 years. OSHA 30, Boom Lift, and Scissor Lift certifications are preferred, with strong communication and leadership skills necessary.

Qualifications

• OSHA 30 Certification required.
• Boom Lift and Scissor Lift certifications required.
• Minimum of 2 years in construction; field experience is a plus.
• Bilingual in Spanish and English.
• Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Proficiency in word processing, spreadsheets, and job-relevant software.

Responsibilities

• Participate in preconstruction meetings with Foreman and Project Team.
• Identify and resolve risks and coordinate with Project Manager.
• Assist in bid production and communicate requirements to Foreman.
• Walk projects with field teams to understand scope of work.
• Oversee Foreman, ensuring production goals are met.
• Coordinate safety audits with on-site safety teams.
