Job summary

Jobot is seeking an Assistant Superintendent to support field operations from startup through closeout on design-build projects. You will coordinate daily activities, help maintain schedules, ensure quality and safety, and collaborate with project teams to deliver on time and budget.

You will work alongside experienced superintendents and project managers, with opportunities for growth into senior field leadership roles within a collaborative, relationship-driven commercial construction company.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of commercial construction experience in a field leadership role.
• Experience supporting ground-up commercial construction; design-build preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings, specifications and contract documents.
• Proficiency with construction management software (Procore, Bluebeam, MS Project).
• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to project sites.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and field personnel to maintain progress.
• Monitor daily jobsite activities ensuring safety and quality compliance.
• Support project scheduling, inspections, punch list, and closeout activities.
• Read and interpret construction drawings, specs, and contract documents.

Job Details

• 2+ years of commercial construction experience in an Assistant Superintendent, Field Engineer, Project Engineer, or similar field leadership role.
• Experience supporting ground-up commercial construction projects; design-build experience is strongly preferred.
• Working knowledge of construction means and methods, sequencing, scheduling, and quality control.
• Assist with coordinating subcontractors, suppliers, and field personnel to maintain project progress.
• Help monitor daily jobsite activities while ensuring compliance with safety regulations and company standards.
• Support project scheduling, inspections, punch list completion, and project closeout activities.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and contract documents.
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience using construction management software such as Procore, Bluebeam, Microsoft Project, or similar platforms is preferred.
• OSHA 30 certification is preferred or willingness to obtain.
• Ability to work collaboratively with owners, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and internal project teams.
• Valid driver's license with the ability to travel to project sites as required.
• Commitment to maintaining high-quality workmanship while delivering projects safely, on schedule, and within budget.
