Our client is seeking a motivated Assistant Superintendent to support commercial pool construction and municipal infrastructure projects throughout Northern New Jersey, New York City, Westchester County, and Eastern Pennsylvania. This is a highly visible growth opportunity for an ambitious engineering or construction professional looking to develop project management expertise and advance into a Lead Super or Operations Manager role.

Client Details

Our client is a growing specialty contractor focused on commercial and institutional pool construction, including both ground-up installations and renovations, as well as municipal water and wastewater infrastructure projects such as pump stations and treatment systems.

Description

• Site Supervision: Assist with the planning, coordination, and execution of commercial construction and municipal infrastructure projects.

• Schedule Management: Support project scheduling, resource allocation, procurement, and logistics activities.

• Team Leadership: Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, vendors, and internal field personnel to ensure project success.

• Documentation: Prepare and maintain project documentation, contracts, submittals, RFIs, change orders, and project reports.

• Safety Compliance: Conduct site visits to monitor project performance, quality, and safety compliance.

• Quality Control: Assist leadership in identifying operational improvements and implementing new systems and processes.

Profile

• 1-5 years of construction, engineering, project coordination, or operations experience.

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field preferred.

• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.

• Comfortable working in both office and field environments.

• Ability to manage multiple priorities and thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial setting.

• Familiarity with Procore, Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, or similar project management platforms is a plus.

• Adaptable, resourceful, and comfortable working within an evolving organization where processes continue to be refined and improved.

• Must be willing to travel to project sites throughout Northern New Jersey, NYC, Westchester County, and Eastern Pennsylvania.
