Base pay range: $65,000.00/yr - $95,000.00/yr
Looking for a driven Assistant Superintendent to join our team. As the first point of contact on many job sites, you'll be a key representative ensuring that quality, safety, schedule, and cost expectations are met throughout every phase of construction.
Description
- Onsite Project Administration & Customer Interface: Serve as the main field contact for clients, ensuring excellent communication and a professional onsite presence.
- Architect/Engineer Coordination: Build and maintain strong relationships with project design teams and ensure seamless collaboration.
- Subcontractor Coordination: Direct and schedule subcontractors' daily activities to maintain project timelines and standards.
- Site Safety Oversight: Enforce Safety Program, support development of site‑specific safety plans, and maintain a clean, hazard‑free work environment.
- Project Quality & Compliance: Ensure construction is aligned with project documents, specs, and design intent; support RFI processing and quality control efforts.
- Field Office Management: Establish and maintain a professional and organized site office.
- Team Support: Collaborate closely with the Project Manager and/or Senior Project Manager, providing critical field insights and updates.
Profile
- OSHA 30‑Hour Certification (or willingness to obtain)
- 2+ years in a field‑based construction role preferred
- Strong knowledge of construction processes, safety standards, and site coordination
- Excellent interpersonal and problem‑solving skills
- Ability to read and interpret construction documents
- Hands‑on, detail‑focused, and highly organized
