Job summary

Keeley Companies in Winter Haven, FL is seeking an Assistant Superintendent for the Paving Group. The role involves supervising field crews, planning site logistics, and coordinating with the project manager on method and sequencing of construction.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years of paving/concrete experience and a strong safety mindset with OSHA knowledge. You will work with owners, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure project success and safety on site.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of related experience with paving/concrete.
• Experience supervising field crews and coordinating construction activities.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and safety practices.

Responsibilities

• Assist in supervising all field crew members including foremen, carpenters, and laborers and project operations.
• Help develop a project site logistics plan and coordinate with the project manager to determine method and sequencing of construction.
• Develop and maintain relationships with owner, subcontractors, and vendors.
• Promote a safe working environment and enforce company safety standards and OSHA regulations.
• Communicate with supervisory/engineering personnel, inspectors, and suppliers to resolve construction problems and improve methods.
• Drive schedule in accordance with planned work.
• Inspect and verify receipt or shipment of materials.
• Perform maintenance and complete repairs onsite per client work orders.
• Offer service and customer assistance during site visits.

• Develop and maintain good working relationships with owner , subcontractors, and vendors.
• Communicate and promote safe working environment and company safety standards, with strong knowledge of OSHA regulations.
• Confer with supervisory/engineering personnel, inspectors, and suppliers of tools/materials to resolve construction problems and improve construction methods.
• Drive s chedule in accordance with planned work.
• Inspect and verify the receipt or shipment of materials.
• Preform maintenance needs from client work orders & c omplete repairs onsite.
• Offer service and customer assistance during site visits.

Minimum Qualifications
