Job summary

FINITETEK INC is seeking mid-senior level Superintendents with 3-8 years of assistant superintendent experience for on-site construction roles in Massachusetts. You will supervise field activities, coordinate trades, monitor progress, read plans, and enforce safety protocols while ensuring quality and compliance.

The ideal candidate has strong communication skills, familiarity with OSHA standards, and proficiency with CM software in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in construction field supervision, including assisting with scheduling, coordinating trades, and monitoring site activities.
• Knowledge of construction processes, drawings, specifications, and building codes, with the ability to read and interpret plans accurately.
• Strong focus on safety, including familiarity with OSHA standards, jobsite safety protocols, and hazard recognition.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills for working with superintendents, project managers, subcontractors, and clients.
• Basic proficiency with construction management software, mobile applications, and standard office tools (e.g., email, spreadsheets). - Procore, Office Suite. Micrsofot Project
• Demonstrated problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and reliability in a fast-paced, field-based environment.
• Prior on-site construction experience in a similar role is preferred; experience in commercial or residential projects in Massachusetts is a plus.
• Post-secondary education in construction management or a related field, or equivalent military/industry experience, is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Supervise field activities and coordinate trades to keep projects on schedule.
• Read and interpret drawings, specs, and codes to ensure compliance.
• Uphold safety protocols, conduct hazard recognition, and enforce OSHA standards.
• Communicate with superintendents, PMs, subcontractors, and clients to resolve issues.
• Utilize construction management tools for planning, reporting, and documentation.
