Job summary

THS National LLC in Huntington, WV seeks an Assistant Superintendent for multifamily new construction projects. You will assist in planning, directing, and coordinating activities to complete projects on time and within budget, while upholding THS standards.

Responsibilities include supervising subs, ensuring safety, inspecting sites, communicating with the project team, and maintaining thorough Procore records. A valid driver's license and fluent English are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years experience in construction management or related field.
• Experience with New Construction projects.
• Fluent in English (read/write/speak).
• Ability to read, interpret work orders and safety rules and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Assist Superintendents with daily duties overseeing subs, vendors, and materials.
• Meet with maintenance staff at project handover to verify punch items.
• Evaluate specifications and ensure start/completion dates and trades are aligned.
• Enforce THS safety policies on site.
• Inspect property and units to ensure conformance to specs, budget and schedule.
• Document all daily/weekly reports in Procore for PM and customers.
• Assist in procuring materials, trade partners, and vendors.

Title: Assistant SuperintendentScope: Multifamily, New ConstructionLocation: Huntington WVRate: $55k - $60kGeneral PurposeThe Assistant Superintendent, you will assist in planning, directing and coordinating activities pertaining to the construction, renovation, and maintenance of an assigned multi-family property in accordance with company policies, property documents, and governmental regulations. We don’t want you to “fit” our culture we want you to “add” to it!ESSENTIAL JOB DETAILS:Assists the Superintendents with their daily duties involving overseeing the sub vendors, and materials.Meets with existing building maintenance staff upon closing to ensure necessary punch items and scope has been met.Evaluates specifications for plan procedures, start and completion dates are met and proper trade partners are secured and notified.Ensure all safety policies are followed by THS employees and trade partnersInspects property and units under construction regularly to ensure the work conforms to specifications, budget and schedule and initiates any repair or replacement needs and/or adjustment of working procedures.
