Job summary

Centurion Selection seeks an Assistant Superintendent to support field operations on ground-up multifamily projects in Houston, TX. You will work closely with the Superintendent and project team to coordinate subcontractors, maintain safety and quality, and keep the schedule on track from mobilization through completion.

The hands-on role requires leadership, site management, and the ability to read plans, RFIs, and submittals.

Qualifications

• 3–7+ years of multifamily construction experience
• Experience with ground-up multifamily
• Strong knowledge of construction sequencing, plans, specifications, and building systems
• Ability to coordinate multiple subcontractors and trades
• Knowledge of OSHA safety requirements and quality control practices
• Proficiency with Procore, Bluebeam, or similar construction software preferred
• Strong leadership, communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
• Willingness to travel as project needs require

Responsibilities

• Assist the Superintendent with daily field operations and project execution.

• Maintain short-term schedules, look-ahead plans, and daily work plans.
• Conduct site walks and monitor safety, quality, progress, and housekeeping.
• Review plans, specifications, RFIs, and submittals for field coordination.
• Identify and resolve field issues before they impact schedule or quality.
• Enforce OSHA and company safety requirements.
• Track manpower, materials, deliveries, and subcontractor progress.
• Maintain daily reports, project documentation, and progress updates.
• Support punch lists, commissioning, closeout, and owner turnover.
• Help foster a safe, organized, and accountable jobsite culture.
