Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Assist daily field operations of ground-up multifamily construction projects.

Scott Humphrey is partnered with a well-established and respected General Contractor to identify three Assistant Superintendents for multifamily projects in Frisco, TX. This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing organization with a strong project pipeline and contribute to the successful delivery of large-scale multifamily developments.

The ideal candidate will have experience supporting field operations on podium-style multifamily projects (4-5 stories) and possess a strong understanding of framing, drywall, and subcontractor coordination. This role will work closely with the Superintendent to ensure projects are completed safely, on schedule, and to the highest quality standards.

The Assistant Superintendent will support the day-to-day management of field operations, subcontractor coordination, quality control, safety compliance, and schedule execution throughout the construction lifecycle. This individual will play a key role in maintaining production goals, resolving field issues, and ensuring successful project delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with the daily field operations of ground-up multifamily construction projects.
• Coordinate framing, drywall, and interior trade activities to maintain project schedules.
• Manage subcontractors, suppliers, and site personnel to ensure production milestones are achieved.
• Support look-ahead scheduling and short-term planning efforts.
• Conduct daily site walks, quality inspections, and safety meetings.
• Monitor and enforce OSHA and company safety standards.

Ideal Qualifications

• Experience as an Assistant Superintendent, Field Engineer, Project Engineer, or related field leadership role.
• Multifamily construction experience, preferably on podium-style projects (4-5 stories).
• Strong knowledge of framing, drywall, and interior finishes.
• Experience coordinating subcontractors and supporting project schedules.
• Understanding of construction safety, quality control, and field operations.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
• Proficiency with Procore, Bluebeam, Microsoft Office, or similar construction management software.
• Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced construction environment.
