  • Responsible for all building aspects of assigned project(s) including schedule, customer relationship, trade partner management, procurement, etc.
  • Lead zero injuries safety culture program.

  • Operate as an entrepreneur by proactively solving problems, taking initiative, and doing what is necessary to achieve project and business success.
  • Think critically and creatively to help the company and its customers solve problems and increase efficiency both on projects and in day-to-day business operations.
  • Mentor, develop, and manage responsibilities of project team members.
  • Develop construction schedules, perform regular weekly schedule updates and effectively communicate impacts to the schedule prior to them resulting in a schedule delay.
  • Plan, organize and direct production of assigned project(s).
  • Partner with preconstruction, trade partners, and project team members to ensure all job requirements are satisfied before project work beings.
  • Develop, implement and manage site logistic plans.
  • Manage self‑perform activities and identify opportunities for self‑perform work.
  • Manage the inspection process.
  • Understand and review all construction documents to ensure all installations meet quality and constructability standards.
  • Proactively initiate day to day risk management procedures to ensure safety, quality and schedule are held to the highest standards.
  • Consistently challenge project team members and identify opportunities to improve processes, procedures, production, coordination and safety on the project.
  • Understand, track and assist Project Manager in cost control procedures to execute the project within the initial established financial boundaries.
  • Partner with the Project Manager to communicate schedule updates, costs, project status, issues, etc. to proactively problem solve.
  • Professionally interface with joint venture teams, trade partners and all key project representatives.
  • Build and maintain relationships with customers, inspectors and trade partners.
  • Lead and participate in business development efforts to assist in the growth of the company.
Required Education and Experience
  • Team leader that can demonstrate and uphold all of FH Construction Group’s values (efficiency, unconventional, competition, and relationships) and create and foster a high performing team culture.
  • Ability to effectively manage multiple tasks with a high attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
  • Exceptional problem‑solving abilities with flexibility to adjust strategies to unexpected challenges.
  • Technical proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Collaborative approach with project team members, trade partners and design professionals.
  • Effective participation in team environment.
Preferred Education and Experience
  • OSHA 30 Certification
  • Prior experience as a Superintendent, or similar role, leading commercial construction projects
  • Ability to read and or speak alternative languages (i.e., Spanish)
