Job summary

Ulta Beauty in the United States is seeking an Assistant Stylist. This temporary role focuses on guest consultations, recommending products, and building a foundation to become a stylist.

During months 1–3 you’ll be mentored by an Elite or Master Stylist and develop skills in guest service, productivity, and store procedures. In months 4–6 you may begin serving guests of your own and advance toward independent styling.

Qualifications

• Cosmetology license required.
• Ability to perform basic hair services and product recommendations.
• Strong guest service and communication skills.
• Willingness to learn and grow under mentorship.

Responsibilities

• Engage with guests and consult on hair care needs.
• Recommend products and services to guests.
• Support and be mentored by an Elite or Master Stylist for the first months.
• Develop own guest service capabilities in months 4–6.
