Overview

The Assistant Stylist is a temporary position designed to prepare talent for a stylist role, focusing on guest engagement, consulting, and technical skill development. Mentored by an Elite or Master Stylist for the first 3 months, they will assist with and eventually perform hair and beauty services, supporting the store’s sales and guest experience goals.

Principal Duties & Responsibilities

1. Performance: Deliver exceptional guest service, support sales goals, perform hair and beauty services post-training, and stay informed on industry trends.
2. People: Develop guest relationships, serve guests efficiently, collaborate with team members, and promote loyalty programs.
3. Process: Follow policies, safety, and sanitation standards; maintain store cleanliness; attend training; and adhere to dress code.

Job Qualifications

Education: Cosmetology license required.

Skills: Basic technical skills in hair and makeup services, product knowledge, communication, teamwork, and client relationship building.

Position Requirements

• Flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Working Conditions

• Mobility, standing for long periods, lifting up to 10 lbs., and use of office and salon equipment.
