Overview

The Assistant Stylist at Ulta Beauty is responsible for engaging with guests, consulting on hair care needs, and recommending products and services. This is a temporary position aimed at preparing talent for a stylist role, focusing on performance, guest service, and technical skills development. The role involves supporting and being mentored by an Elite or Master Stylist initially, with responsibilities expanding as experience grows.

Principal Duties & Responsibilities

1. Performance: Deliver exceptional guest service, support sales goals, assist with hair services, and stay informed on industry trends.
2. People: Develop guest relationships, serve walk-ins efficiently, and collaborate with team members.
3. Process: Follow policies and safety procedures, maintain cleanliness and organization, and attend training.

Job Qualifications

Education: Cosmetology license required.

Skills: Knowledge of salon techniques, equipment, product sales, communication skills, and ability to build client relationships.

Work Conditions
