Job summary

The University of Maryland Eastern Shore (UMES) invites resumes for a full-time, twelve-month Assistant Strength and Conditioning Coach to support the Head Coach in developing and maintaining a competitive NCAA Division I program.

The position offers a salary of $44,948 to $48,000 and benefits including health insurance, annual leave, sick leave, and holidays. A Bachelor's degree is required; CSCS or SCCC certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
• Knowledge of NCAA rules and safety requirements for strength and conditioning.
• Strong communication, organization, and administrative skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing and supervising strength, conditioning, and fitness programs for student-athletes.
• Support the Head Strength and Conditioning Coach in promoting athletic performance and injury prevention.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
