Job summary

Mount St. Mary's University, located in Emmitsburg, Maryland, seeks an Assistant Strength & Conditioning Coach to support the Head Coach in overseeing the university's strength program across 25 NCAA Division I sports.

The role emphasizes program development, safety, and performance with scheduling based on experience and team needs. The candidate will develop and supervise conditioning plans, conduct testing, implement sports science tech, and work with athletic trainers and coaches.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Exercise Science or related field is required.
• CSCS or CSCCA certification is required.
• CPR/AED certification is required.
• Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) are required.

Responsibilities

• Develops strength and conditioning programs for male and female student-athletes with review from the Head Coach.
• Maintain knowledge of best practices to ensure health, safety, and welfare of student-athletes.
• Supervises and coordinates strength and conditioning programs for men’s and women’s sports as required.
• Performs strength testing and evaluation as assigned.
• Implements and reports on sports science technology and software.
