Position Objective: The Assistant Store Manager supports the Store Manager in fostering a customer and product-focused sales culture, managing sales operations, asset protection, and human resources to ensure a great customer experience and profitability. Functional Responsibilities:

1. Performance Culture: Analyzes sales reports and KPIs, executes sales strategies, sets expectations, manages budgets, oversees operational activities, ensures compliance, and develops a high-performance culture.
2. Building High Performing Teams: Motivates and develops the store team, promotes inclusivity, communicates effectively, and seeks personal growth opportunities.
3. Customer Experience: Promotes MAPS principles, offers excellent personal service, resolves customer concerns promptly, and maintains efficient register operations.
4. Talent Management: Assists in recruiting, hiring, training, coaching, and engaging team members, and resolves HR issues.

Qualifications:

• High School diploma or equivalent
• 2+ years retail management experience preferred
• Excellent communication skills
• Proven customer service and leadership skills
• Strong organizational and multi-tasking abilities
• Knowledge of store operations
• Flexible schedule including nights, weekends, holidays

Physical Requirements: Constant walking/standing, occasional lifting up to 50 lbs., frequent climbing.
