Qualifications

Our unwavering commitment to addressing the unique needs of our communities drives us to continuously evolve.What You’ll Get To Do:Provides oversight, guidance, and support to team members and leaders as directed by the Store Manager and Regional Manager.Oversees the donation door to store floor process, ensuring proper stewardship of all donations and creating a customer-centric experience for our shoppers.Assumes leadership in store operational aspects such as talent management; including hiring, onboarding, training, performance management, mentoring and development to build a high performing team and strong bench strength as directed by the Store Manager.Assists in executing business strategies to ensure store is meeting or exceeding their forecasted sales and production plans. Responsible for assisting in the delivery of the financial and operational goals in assigned store, including people, sales, staffing, scheduling, payroll, store growth, expenses, mission integration, budgeting, and safety as assigned.Assists in the execution and sustainment of department standard operating procedures to maintain standards of store presentation, organization, facility layout and maintenance, quality control, safety standards, and all organizational policies and procedures.Manages change through effective planning, communication, and coaching.Maintains a consistent presence through the store, engaging and seeking feedback from team members.Assists with ensuring regulatory compliance, conducts facility and equipment audits, and promotes safe work practices aligned with safety standards.Executes, at the direction of the Store Manager and Regional Manager, marketing, advertising, and communication strategies and works with community members on mission awareness and advancement.Manages a broad range of retail activities, including scheduling, opening/closing procedures, production efficiency and volume, store cleanliness, store safety and security operational procedures, and driving performance metrics, while ensuring completion of the leader checklists and team communications.Leads team through hiring, onboarding, training, performance management, mentoring and development of team members to create a high performing team including cross training of skills.Other duties as assigned.What We Need From You:High School diploma or equivalent preferred.4+ years of leadership experience preferred.Excellent time management and prioritization skills and the ability to work through multiple tasks simultaneously under time constraints.Excellent communication, customer service and attention to detail.Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.At least a basic level of competency with Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint and Outlook.Experience with reporting and dashboard tools.Ability to maintain confidentiality.A valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record and the ability to travel to other locations is required.Ability to work a flexible schedule, including holidays, evenings, and weekends, with regular and timely attendance in accordance with the assigned work schedule.Work Environment:The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by a team member to successfully perform the key functions of this job.Work is performed primarily in a standard retail backroom or warehouse environment with extensive team member contact and frequent interruptions.Primary function requires sufficient physical ability to repetitively:Sit or stand for prolonged periods of time (up to 8 hours)Independently twist, lift, carry, push or pull moderate (10 pounds) to heavy (25 pounds) of weight; using a team lift for objects weighing over 25 pounds.Reach (approximately 54 inches).Frequently stoop, bend, kneel, crouch.Sufficient hand and finger dexterity to perform detailed tasks.Verbally communicate to exchange information.
