About the Role & Team:

Our team brings beloved brands and franchises into the lives of families through products and experiences worldwide, such as the Disney Store e-commerce platform, Disney Parks, local and international retailers, and Disney Store locations.

The Assistant Manager acts as a brand ambassador by creating an engaging, entertaining, innovative, and magical store environment, upholding the Disney brand's integrity. You will support a high-energy work environment, motivate Cast members, manage scheduling, control expenses, and foster teamwork. This role reports to the Store Manager and is full-time.

What You Will Do:
  • Collaborate with the Store Manager in selecting, developing, and retaining Cast Members based on Disney Store competencies.
  • Contribute ideas to optimize product accessibility that meets guest needs.
  • Maintain store standards that uphold storytelling and visual standards.
  • Develop Cast members through coaching and feedback.
  • Build positive, trusting relationships within the store, district, and region.
  • Enhance store sales through strategic planning and exceptional guest experiences.
  • Ensure operational excellence and control expenses to improve profitability.
  • Adhere to all company policies and legal requirements to protect assets.
Required Qualifications & Skills:
  • 3+ years of leadership experience in retail.
  • Ability to lead and develop a team for outstanding results.
  • Strong business acumen.
  • Physical ability to lift up to 40 lbs, stock inventory, and use a ladder.
  • Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Preferred Education:
  • Bachelor's Degree or 3+ years of related experience.
