The Assistant Manager acts as a brand ambassador by creating an engaging, entertaining, innovative, and magical store environment, upholding the Disney brand and store competencies. You will support a high-energy work environment, motivate the Cast, manage scheduling, control expenses, and foster teamwork. This role reports to the Store Manager of the Disney Store.

This is a Full-Time Role.

What You Will Do:

1. Collaborate with the Store Manager in selecting, developing, and retaining Cast Members using Disney Store competencies and market networking.
2. Share ideas with the Store Manager to optimize product accessibility and meet Guest needs.
3. Maintain store standards that uphold storytelling and visual excellence.
4. Develop the Cast through teaching and feedback.
5. Build positive relationships within the store, district, and region.
6. Enhance store sales through strategic planning and exceptional Guest experiences.
7. Deliver operational excellence while managing expenses to impact profitability.
8. Ensure adherence to all policies, laws, and safeguard company assets.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

• 3+ years of leadership experience in retail.
• Proven ability to lead and build successful teams.
• Strong business acumen.
• Ability to lift up to 40lbs and use a ladder for stocking.
• Flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Preferred Education:

• Bachelor's Degree and/or 3+ years related experience.
