Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; ability to read, interpret operational directives.
• Store/retail management experience preferred.
• Able to lift up to 55 lbs and perform frequent walking/standing.
• Strong communication, interpersonal and written skills required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day store activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions or concerns.
• Organize and transfer merchandise from delivery to stockroom to sales floor; maintain seasonal areas.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Process corporate directives and communications related to store activities.
• Maintain promotional storefront fixtures and displays.
• Assist in ordering merchandise, handling damaged merchandise, payroll, scheduling, and cash deposits.
• Maintain a well-stocked sales floor and organized stockroom to company standards.
• Protect and secure all company assets, including store cash.
• Adhere to safety guidelines and company policies; supervise/store associates.
• Provide training and development for Store Associates; maintain a safe environment.
• Ensure cleanliness and neat presentation of the store, restocking as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.
