Job summary

The Salvation Army in Arnold, MO is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support the Store Manager in daily operations, including staff supervision, sales, banking, and records. Youll train and coach staff, support banking and records, and help maintain store appearance and safety.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• 2 years of retail experience (thrift experience a plus) preferred.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and basic computer literacy including POS systems.
• Ability to pass pre-employment background check.

Responsibilities

• Assist Store Manager with daily operations, staff supervision, production, sales, and banking procedures.
• Implement strategies to meet sales and production goals while maintaining store safety and appearance.
• Handle administrative duties, including records, budgeting, and compliance with OSHA policies.
• Support customer development and create a positive shopping experience.
