Job summary

Dollar Tree in Southington, CT is seeking an Assistant Store Manager in a part-time capacity to support store operations, customer service, and team development. You will assist with daily store activities, organize merchandise from delivery to sales floor, and help maintain seasonal displays.

The role requires strong communication, a high-energy team mindset, and the ability to lift up to 55 lbs. Prior store management experience is preferred; high school diploma is desired.

Qualifications

• Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drugstore preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions or concerns.
• Assist in organizing merchandise from delivery to stockroom to sales floor and maintain seasonal areas.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Process corporate directives and communications related to store activities.
• Maintain promotional fixtures and displays for effectiveness.
• Assist in ordering merchandise, processing damaged goods, record-keeping, and loss prevention.
