Aéropostale in Grand Rapids, MI is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support the Store Manager in delivering an exceptional customer experience and driving store results. You will help develop a high-performing team, oversee merchandising and operations, and maintain a visually appealing store environment.

You will lead by example, manage priorities, and remain composed under pressure while supporting the Store Manager to achieve sales targets and brand standards in a fast-paced retail

Qualifications

• 2+ years as a Co/Assistant Manager in a similar apparel store.
• Proven track record of exceeding sales and performance targets.
• Flexible availability including evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Partner with the Store Manager to create action plans that grow the business.
• Demonstrate product knowledge and selling skills to maximize sales.
• Engage customers to build relationships and brand loyalty.
• Develop team members to deliver a great customer experience.
• Oversee store operations and merchandising standards consistently.
• Perform POS transactions and assist in management when needed.
