Dollar Tree, Inc. is actively seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support store operations, customer service, and team development at our Indian Land, SC location. You will assist with opening/closing procedures, merchandising, payroll, and loss prevention while ensuring a safe and welcoming environment.

The role requires strong communication, organizational skills, and the ability to lift up to 55 lbs. Prior retail or grocery management experience is preferred, with a focus on team training

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or equivalent. Strong communication and customer service skills required.
• Experience in retail, grocery, or drug store management preferred.
• Able to lift up to 55 lbs and perform physical tasks as needed.
• Excellent organizational and interpersonal abilities essential.

Responsibilities

• Assist with day-to-day store activities and operations.
• Support customers with questions and concerns in a positive manner.
• Organize merchandise and maintain seasonal store areas.
• Complete opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Process directives and maintain store communications.
• Maintain storefront displays and promotional materials.
• Assist in merchandise ordering, damaged goods processing, payroll and cash handling, and loss prevention.
• Keep store areas clean, organized, and stocked.
• Protect store assets, including cash.
• Ensure policy compliance and safety procedures.
• Help supervise and develop Store Associates.
• Foster a safe, respectful environment with customers and staff.
• Adhere to cleanliness requirements across the store.
