Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Store management experience in retail or grocery preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 55 lbs.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced team.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day store activities
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address any questions or concerns
• Help organize merchandise from delivery to stockroom to sales floor
• Perform opening and closing procedures
• Maintain promotional fixtures and displays
• Assist in ordering merchandise, processing damaged merchandise, record keeping (including payroll, scheduling, and cash register deposits and receipts)
• Maintain well-stocked sales floor and organized stockroom
• Protect and secure store assets including store cash
• Adhere to safety guidelines and ensure policies are followed
• Help supervise, train, and develop store associates
• Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment for customers and staff
• Maintain cleanliness including bathrooms, floors, trash, and restocking
• Other duties as assigned
