You will assist the Store Manager, train associates, and help keep the store safe, clean, and welcoming while ensuring policies are followed. This is a part-time position with growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma preferred; ability to read and interpret operational directives.
• Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store environments preferred.
• Must lift up to 55 lbs and perform duties requiring walking, standing, stooping, and reaching.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills required.
• Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment with customers.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day store activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions or concerns.
• Organize and transfer merchandise from delivery to stockroom to sales floor and maintain seasonal areas.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Assist in payroll, scheduling, and cash handling, and support loss prevention.
• Supervise and develop Store Associates; ensure a positive, safe, and friendly environment.
• Maintain clean, well-stocked store areas and secure store assets.
