General Description, Principles, Duties, and Responsibilities
Generate Sales
- Produce sales gains by providing excellent customer service.
- Meet or exceed Company Objectives in all individual sales statistics.
- Consistently appraise an associate’s sales performance, providing constructive feedback on strengths and opportunities, aligned with Company Objectives.
- Follow visual guidelines, including proper merchandising, signage, and store cleanliness.
- Maintain a professional appearance in accordance with the Dress Code Policy.
Control Expenses
- Protect company assets within LIDS Retail policies.
- Assist in preparing store schedules to ensure proper coverage and wage control.
- Manage store inventory accurately, including receiving, transferring, pricing, and conducting product counts.
- Maintain proper documentation and records in compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
- Open and close the store following operational procedures.
- Support and adhere to all company policies, procedures, and guidelines.
Additional Principle Duties and Responsibilities
Supervise Associates
- Participate in training programs, set goals, and conduct regular follow-ups.
- Assist in recruiting and training store personnel on operational procedures.
- Encourage compliance with company policies, including inventory and asset protection.
- Perform the work of subordinates as needed.
- Communicate effectively with employees at all levels.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Job Required Knowledge & Skills
- High school diploma or equivalent plus at least one year of relevant experience.
- Proven ability to achieve sales results while minimizing loss.
- Strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency with computers and relevant software.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work with hands overhead.
- Ability to stand for up to 100% of the work time.
- Ability to work independently.
