Principle Duties and Responsibilities
Generate Sales
- Produce sales gains by providing customer service.
- Meet or exceed company objectives in all individual statistics.
- Provide support to associates through feedback on sales performance.
- Follow visual guidelines for merchandising and store presentation.
- Maintain professional appearance as per policy.
Control Expenses
- Protect company assets within policies.
- Assist in scheduling to ensure proper store coverage and wage control.
- Manage inventory according to policies, including receiving, transferring, and pricing.
- Maintain accurate documentation and records as required by law and policy.
- Follow store opening and closing procedures.
- Support adherence to all company policies and guidelines.
Additional Duties
Supervise Associates
- Participate in training and goal setting.
- Assist in recruiting and training staff.
- Ensure compliance with policies, including inventory and funds security.
- Perform tasks of subordinates as needed.
- Communicate effectively at all levels.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Knowledge & Skills
- High school diploma or equivalent plus one year of relevant experience.
- Ability to produce sales results and minimize loss.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency with computers and relevant software.
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work with hands overhead.
- Ability to stand for up to 100% of the work time.
- Ability to work independently.
Preferred Skills & Knowledge
Compensation can include up to 25% above minimum wage, bonuses, and employee discounts. Exact pay varies based on experience and location.
