General Position Summary

Principle Duties and Responsibilities

Generate Sales

1. Produce sales gains by providing customer service.
2. Meet or exceed company objectives in all individual statistics.
3. Provide support to associates through feedback on sales performance.
4. Follow visual guidelines for merchandising and store presentation.
5. Maintain professional appearance as per policy.

Control Expenses

1. Protect company assets within policies.
2. Assist in scheduling to ensure proper store coverage and wage control.
3. Manage inventory according to policies, including receiving, transferring, and pricing.
4. Maintain accurate documentation and records as required by law and policy.
5. Follow store opening and closing procedures.
6. Support adherence to all company policies and guidelines.

Additional Duties

Supervise Associates

1. Participate in training and goal setting.
2. Assist in recruiting and training staff.
3. Ensure compliance with policies, including inventory and funds security.
4. Perform tasks of subordinates as needed.
5. Communicate effectively at all levels.
6. Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Knowledge & Skills

• High school diploma or equivalent plus one year of relevant experience.
• Ability to produce sales results and minimize loss.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work with hands overhead.
• Ability to stand for up to 100% of the work time.
