Job summary

Dollar Tree is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support store operations, customer service, and team development at our Warrenton, Oregon location. You will assist with daily store activities, help customers, and ensure inventory flows from delivery to sales floor.

The role includes opening/closing procedures, payroll and scheduling, and maintaining a safe, clean, and welcoming environment. The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or equivalent, prior store management experience in

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required or preferred.
• Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store environment preferred.
• Must be able to lift up to 55 lbs and stand for long periods.
• Strong communication and customer service skills required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day store activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions or concerns.
• Organize and transfer merchandise from delivery to stockroom to sales floor and maintain seasonal areas.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Process corporate directives and store communications related to activities.
• Maintain promotional fixtures and displays for effectiveness.
• Assist in ordering merchandise, processing damaged merchandise, payroll/scheduling, and loss prevention.
• Maintain well-stocked sales floor and organized stockroom to company standards.
• Protect and secure all company assets, including store cash.
• Adhere to safety guidelines and ensure policy compliance by associates.
• Help Store Manager supervise, train, and develop Store Associates.
• Foster a positive, safe, and respectful environment with customers, associates, and leaders.
• Maintain cleanliness throughout the store, bathrooms, floors, and trash removal.
