SmartStop Self Storage in Lompoc, CA is hiring an Assistant Store Manager for Store #6017. The role covers leasing storage, supervising a team, assisting with maintenance, and maintaining tenant relationships.

Hours: Mon-Fri 9:30am–6:00pm, Sat 9:00am–4:00pm, Sun 10:00am–2:00pm. Starting at $19.50/hour plus bonus; a background check is required and a valid driver’s license with current auto insurance is needed.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer service is preferred.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Able to adapt to changing situations and maintain a positive attitude.

Responsibilities

• Prepare rental agreements.
• Handle monetary transactions and banking activities.
• Clean vacated units and perform general property cleaning.
• Promote and sell self-storage solutions to customers.
• Light maintenance.
• Maintain knowledge of all products and services.
• Must have reliable transportation, a valid Driver’s License, and current auto insurance.
• Background check required.
• Other duties as assigned by the Company.
