Job summary

SmartStop Self Storage, Inc. in Rougemont, NC is hiring an Assistant Store Manager (Store #1723) to oversee leasing, customer service, and team supervision at our busy storage facility.

This role includes managing day-to-day operations, coordinating maintenance, and ensuring a high standard of tenant relations. Hours are Mon-Fri 9:30am-6:00pm, Sat 9:00am - 4:00pm, Sun 10:00am - 2:00pm;Starting pay $17.00/hour plus bonus.

Qualifications

• Customer service orientation and selling skills required.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proactive, adaptable and positive attitude.

Responsibilities

• Prepare rental agreements
• Handle monetary transactions and banking activities
• Cleaning of vacated units and general cleaning of the property
• Promotes and sells self-storage solutions to potential customers
• Light maintenance
• Maintain a working knowledge of all products and services
• Must have reliable transportation, a valid Driver’s License, and current auto insurance
• The position requires a background check
• Other duties as assigned by the Company
