Job summary

SmartStop Self Storage, Inc. in Kingwood, TX is seeking an Assistant Store Manager for Store #6097. The role covers leasing storage, preparing rental agreements, handling transactions, and supervising a team to keep the property well maintained and welcoming.

You will ensure exceptional customer service, promote storage solutions, and manage on-site projects with a focus on accuracy, safety, and curb appeal. The position offers daytime hours and a starting wage of $16.50 per hour plus bonus.

Qualifications

• Must have reliable transportation, a valid Driver’s License, and current auto insurance.
• Background check is required.
• Experience in retail or storage rental is a plus.

Assistant Store Manager (Store #6097 - Kingwood, TX) Job Summary - NO NIGHTS!

The right candidate pays attention to detail, stays organized, and delights in finding great solutions to problems. This position is involved in all phases of the operation, including leasing storage and parking, managing a team, assisting with maintenance, supervising on-site projects, and maintaining good relationships with tenants.

Hours of Operation: Mon - Fri 9:30 am to 6:00 pm; Sat 9:00 am - 4:00 pm; Sun 10:00 am - 2:00 pm

Starting at $16.50/hour + Bonus

What You'll Do:

• Rent storage units
• Prepare rental agreements
• Handle monetary transactions and banking activities
• Clean vacated units and perform general cleaning of the property
• Promote and sell self-storage solutions to potential customers
• Light maintenance
• Maintain a working knowledge of all products and services
• Maintain general curb appeal
