Job summary

SmartStop Self Storage, located in Cypress TX, seeks an Assistant Store Manager to oversee daily operations and drive customer interactions. This role offers no night shifts, a structured schedule, and opportunities to grow with a leading self-storage operator.

You will manage rentals, handle cash transactions, and coordinate with the team to ensure excellent service. Benefits include health insurance, 401k matching, and paid time off.

Responsibilities

• Rent storage units to customers and explain options.
• Prepare rental agreements and process payments.
• Handle monetary transactions and banking activities.
• Clean vacated units and maintain property cleanliness.
• Promote and upsell self-storage solutions to customers.
• Perform light maintenance and safety checks.
• Know products and services to assist customers effectively.
• Keep property curb appeal and organized.
• Have reliable transport, valid license and insurance.

Job Summary

NO NIGHTS

Hours of Operation Mon Fri 930am to 600pm; Sat 900am 400pm; Sun 1000am 200pm

Starting at 1650hour Bonus

What Youll Do

• Rent storage units
• Prepare rental agreements
• Handle monetary transactions and banking activities
• Cleaning of vacated units and general cleaning of the property
• Promotes and sells self storage solutions to potential customers
• Light maintenance
• Maintain a working knowledge of all products and services
• Maintain general curb appeal
• Must have reliable transportation a valid Drivers License and current auto insurance

The position requires a background check
