Default Brand in Brockport, NY seeks an Assistant Store Manager to partner with the Store Manager in driving merchandising, sales and day-to-day operations. You will lead a team to deliver outstanding customer service and achieve store goals.

You will oversee merchandising execution, inventory control, and collaboration with buyers, while modeling safety and accountability across the store. Prior retail or customer service and managerial experience are required.

Qualifications

• 2 years: Previous Retail/Customer Service Experience
• 2 years: Previous Managerial Experience
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for overall sales and expenses at assigned retail store.
• Direct and coordinate the merchandising of products.
• Set priorities for distribution of new merchandise throughout the retail store.
• Ensure adequate inventory in all areas.
• Assist customers with purchases, returns, special orders, complaints etc.
• Work closely with Retail Buyer(s) to ensure awareness of product needs and other product information throughout their assigned retail store.
• Ensure that safety is practiced when handling merchandise by employees and customers.
• Delegate authority to managerial personnel as deemed appropriate.
